Community Service Board of Middle Georgia - PEO, Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Therapist for Youth Development to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of mental health care and have experience working with school-aged children.

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the Job

This school-based therapist will provide mental health services to students at the East Laurens School System, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions. The therapist will also consult with school staff to support the overall mental health goals of the school and its students.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct mental health services to include intake assessments, individual/family/group therapy sessions, and crisis intervention.
  • Maintain regular contact with parents/guardians of each client (if applicable).
  • Complete individualized treatment plans, treatment plan updates, behavior assessment updates, and safety plans.
  • Participate in case management, including being aware of managed care authorizations, current insurance statuses, and other chart compliances.
  • Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and clinical supervision as required.
  • Provide consultation for school staff regarding mental health concerns of clients.

Please note that regular travel between the office and schools is required.
