Surgical Wound Care Specialist

Quality Surgical Management (QSM) has been a leader in delivering exceptional bedside and clinical wound care management for over three decades. Our team of dedicated medical professionals is expanding, and we are seeking a qualified provider, including Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathy, Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants (MD, DO, NP, or PA), to join our dynamic workforce.

As a Surgical Wound Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering bedside surgical wound care services with precision.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring outstanding customer service.

QSM offers comprehensive training for all providers. The ideal candidate must complete two (2) weeks of remote didactic training, followed by a minimum of four (4) weeks of hands-on field training in various operational states. All training is compensated, and travel expenses are fully covered by the company.

Key Qualifications

  • Unencumbered licensure as MD, DO, NP (Adult, Geriatric, or Family), or PA, or eligibility for licensure.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Awareness of the significance of accurate documentation and adherence to care standards.
  • Reliable transportation to multiple facilities.
  • DEA certification is not mandatory.
  • Attendance at all required meetings and corporate conferences is expected (travel may be necessary).
  • Direct patient examination in-person is essential.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to maneuver equipment effectively.
  • Availability and responsiveness via cell phone during working hours.
  • Flexible working hours based on client needs and requests.
  • Capacity to exercise discretion and independent clinical judgment in daily patient treatment.
  • Ability to delegate tasks, provide clear instructions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff.
  • Potential to offer telehealth services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in wound care is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Two years of experience as a provider is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Compensation

We offer a competitive base salary along with a bonus structure.
