One River School of Art & Design is seeking part-time art teachers for advanced teens and adults. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience teaching art or digital design classes to advanced level students, a BFA or BS in Art Education, and a passion for One River's mission.
The salary range is $25-$45 per hour. Our curriculum is created centrally, so there is minimal prep required, and all tools, equipment, and supplies are provided. Most teachers work onsite at our school locations, but we also have travel teacher opportunities for those who can deliver our curriculum in after-school programs in local schools and other art enrichment programs in the community.
As an art educator at One River, you will teach a variety of proprietary classes, including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, cartooning, manga, digital art, animation, design, and street art. You will be part of a team that has developed a unique art educational system blending social dynamics with contemporary art education.
