Job Summary: Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technician to join our team for a 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care hospital. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly.
  • Monitor patients' responses to CT scans and report any adverse reactions to medical staff.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Transport patients as needed and assist with other tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technician.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift patients, and move equipment as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
