**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team at Aramark. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in bringing our culinary vision to life, working with fresh ingredients and state-of-the-art equipment to create delicious and innovative dishes.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to standardized recipes and production guidelines
• Set up workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment
• Safely use a range of utensils, including knives, to prepare ingredients
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers to prepare and cook food
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, and colleagues
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and high-quality food production
• Stay up-to-date with menu changes, new recipes, and culinary trends
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
**Requirements**
• Previous experience as a cook or in a related role
• Validated knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
• Ability to acquire food safety certification
• Basic math and counting skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
