**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Avante at Lake Worth, Inc. as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Occupational Therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist in the evaluation process in the areas of self-care, homemaking, functional mobility, and coordination.
  • Conduct individual and group treatment as assigned by the Occupational Therapist and outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Adapt techniques and media as indicated by resident performance and following consultation with the Occupational Therapist.
  • Maintain acceptable resident care ratios as determined by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification for O.T.A.
  • Current state licensure or license eligible.
  • 0-3 years of long-term care experience.
