Position Overview:
The Server plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our guests with attentiveness, courtesy, and efficiency. This position involves taking and fulfilling guest orders, as well as processing payments. We seek a motivated hospitality professional who is organized, friendly, and passionate about providing outstanding service. As a vital member of our service team, you will help create memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with guests and team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Listen to and address concerns raised by guests and colleagues with understanding and clarity.
  • Approach all interactions with guests and staff in a courteous and attentive manner.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including adherence to the uniform policy.
  • Maximize productivity, identify challenges, and assist in implementing effective solutions.
  • Handle issues proactively, including anticipating and resolving potential problems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Demonstrate initiative by anticipating guest and operational needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Exude a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a server role.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and the responsibilities of various positions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of menus and current specials.
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests regarding all food and beverage needs.
  • Pre-bus tables by clearing soiled dishes after each course.
  • Proficient in operating the Point of Sale (P.O.S) system.
  • Handle cashiering duties, including closing checks and preparing end-of-shift paperwork.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures and side-work duties according to assigned rotations.
  • Ensure tables and service areas are well-stocked, tidy, and clean.
  • Manage the breakdown of trays with soiled dishes and linens according to established standards.
  • Consistently promote food, beverage, and special items to guests.
  • Receive and deliver food and beverage orders while processing payments.
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
