Job Title: Debt Collector I

Job Summary:

Dexian - DISYS is seeking a skilled Debt Collector I to join our team. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for executing timely collection and/or instigating recovery activities to minimize risk costs and optimize returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Investigate Payment Arrears: Identify and investigate payment arrears in the portfolio and code debtor appropriately to determine following collection process steps.
  • Communicate with Debtors: Communicate with debtors by telephone and in writing to resolve payment arrears.
  • Manage Debtors and Arrears Process: Manage debtors and arrears process to ensure timely collection and minimize risk costs.
  • Quality Adjustment Requests: Identify quality adjustment requests, complete the documentation package, and utilize company underwriting guidelines to approve or reject the request.
  • Collect Payments and Terminate Accounts: Continue all necessary actions to collect payments and/or terminate accounts.
  • Record Debtor and Arrears History: Record debtor and arrears history to ensure a complete file as a sound basis for decision making during collection, recovery.
