Position Overview

Become an integral part of the City of Atlanta's commitment to enhancing community spaces. We are seeking a dedicated Parks District Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the pristine condition of our parks, green areas, and recreational facilities.

Primary Duties
  • Design and execute regular maintenance schedules for parks and facilities
  • Oversee the maintenance team during projects, ensuring adherence to departmental guidelines
  • Plan and organize maintenance tasks and inspections
  • Educate staff on safety protocols and proper equipment usage
  • Manage the inventory of tools and materials
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in landscaping or facility upkeep
  • Completion of relevant technical courses or an associate's degree is preferred
  • Certifications in Playground Safety, Pesticide Application, CDL, or Safety Training are advantageous
