Job Title: Residential Nurse - Addiction Treatment Specialist

Job Summary:

Lyle Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Nurse to join our team. As a Residential Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication management, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Facilitate health education and psychoeducational groups to promote patient engagement and empowerment.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Active Connecticut licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Two years of experience treating individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders in a residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of addiction treatment, pharmacotherapies, and co-occurring diagnoses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience with electronic health records and general office software.
  • Knowledge of ASAM guidelines and trauma-informed care principles.
