Position Summary

Role Summary: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively scrape and rinse food residue from dishes, washing them by hand or utilizing dishwashing equipment as assigned.
  • Ensure thorough cleaning of pots, pans, and trays following established procedures.
  • Polish silverware using appropriate tools and methods to maintain high sanitation standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with established safety procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels as per guidelines.
  • Keep the dishwashing area organized and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Regularly sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Clean work surfaces, including tables, walls, and food preparation areas.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness of garbage containers.
  • Assist in the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
  • Support loading and unloading of supplies and products as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
