Carpenter Installer

California Closets is a leading brand in the closet industry, and we're seeking a skilled Install Carpenter/Install Apprentice to join our team. As a rapidly growing custom furniture manufacturer based in Hempstead, NY, we offer a unique opportunity for career growth and development.

• Deliver and install custom closet systems, wall units, entertainment centers, garages units, home office, and more with precision and attention to detail.
• Build projects accurately and within time and budget specifications, utilizing power tools, power saws, hand tools, dowels, screws, and other tools and fasteners.
• Attach specified door pulls and hardware, and hang cabinet doors on frames with accuracy.
• Install light fixtures such as puck lighting and pole lighting with precision.

• Work experience in cabinetry, woodworking, trim carpentry, or trade experience.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues.
• Ability to measure and build with accuracy, and possess very good math and spatial skills.
• Thorough understanding of and ability to operate complex and basic tools.
• Extremely accurate and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and precision.
• Must be neat and represent our brand with professionalism.
