Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler - Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at ABM Industries. As a key member of our Provisioning Center, you will be responsible for overseeing the customer's products, ensuring accurate inventory records, and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Perform physical counts of inventory items, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately input inventory control data, complete necessary documentation, and provide timely reports to management.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent written and verbal communication to Provisioning Center management and customer personnel.
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform daily housekeeping tasks, count, weigh, and determine inventory quantities, and process returns with accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: One to two years of relevant experience in inventory control, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Skills: Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to work irregular or extended hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bi-lingual Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in a second language.
  • Previous Experience: One year of similar work experience in inventory control or supply chain management.
