The ideal candidate will participate in the Clinical Advancement Program and be an active member of the unit leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and clinical expertise on the unit
  • Manage the orientation and on-boarding of new staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and quality
  • Participate in the Clinical Advancement Program
  • Collaborate with the unit leadership team to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a registered nurse in New York State
  • Two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience in an acute care specialty area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience in a similar role or specialty area
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
