About the RoleKettering Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team in the Imaging Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of radiographic examinations using both fixed and portable equipment, including C-arms and surgery suites.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic examinations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, including C-arms and portable units
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Valid Ohio License as a Radiographer
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of radiographic equipment and procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
