Job Summary:

Touro University New York is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty Member to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty Member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate level courses, preparing course materials, and grading and assessment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a minimum of one undergraduate level course per semester
  • Prepare course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts
  • Record and report student data accurately and in a timely manner
  • Support students' learning goals by:
    • Focusing on student learning outcomes
    • Taking into account the needs and abilities of students
    • Becoming familiar with academic and social support services
    • Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences
    • Maintaining the academic integrity of the college
    • Making yourself available to assist students in achieving their learning goals

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree preferred (or an equivalent of the highest attainable degree)
  • Previous collegiate teaching experience

Compensation:

  • Maximum Salary: USD $4,060.00 per semester
  • Minimum Salary: USD $2,950.00 per semester
