As a CNC Technician, you will join a dynamic, enjoyable, and inclusive team focused on the production of small components for the connector sector.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in machining.
  • Capability to manufacture components in materials such as Stainless Steel, Beryllium Copper, and Titanium.
  • Proficient in utilizing tools necessary for fabrication, inspection, and validation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing throughout shift hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricating small machine components by programming, setting up, and operating Swiss lathes and/or turn/mill machines.
  • Upholding high standards of quality and safety, maintaining records, and ensuring equipment and supplies are available.
  • Minimizing costs and enhancing timely delivery for current products while collaborating with the quality department to support the Quality System.

Collaboration:

You will work closely with your supervisor and other departments, documenting or verbally communicating any actions that could add value, reduce cycle time, or enhance processes.

Empowerment:

  • Organizing your workday by reviewing work orders, drawing specifications, machining parameters, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances. Verifying settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.
  • Following procedures in line with ISO and AS 9100 Quality Systems.
  • Programming lathes by inputting instructions, setting tools, and adjusting offsets, zero, and reference points.
  • Ensuring safe operations by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintaining equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and reporting irregularities for repairs.
