At VetJobs, we are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in an institutional setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to inmates and residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting dentists with patient treatment, preparing impressions and filling materials, and sterilizing dental units and instruments. Additionally, they will be responsible for controlling medication, syringes, and other dental supplies, as well as reviewing dental services provided to prevent inappropriate use or duplication of services.

Requirements for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of dental assistant experience, and a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will also have a certificate or evidence of completion of a dental assistant training program, as well as meet the criteria of the Dental Practice Act in the state of practice.
