Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale (MHC). As a vascular certified (RVT) and RVT registered technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform vascular ultrasound exams, including abdominal and small parts, OB/GYN, and other procedures as needed.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including Canon Aplio i700 and Philips Affiniti.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • ARDMS certification; RVT preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a travel ultrasound technologist, with a strong background in vascular ultrasound.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Work Schedule

Our travel ultrasound technologist will work a 6-day schedule, with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be working days.

Unit Specific Information

We prefer candidates with experience using Canon Aplio i700 and Philips Affiniti ultrasound equipment. Abdomen/small parts, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound experience are highly desirable.
