About the Role

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record patient statistics, observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours, including 12+ hour shifts, on your feet
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
