About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Assistant to join our team at Lifespace Communities. As a Dietary Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and nutrition support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribute food in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual resident meals according to specified diet orders and approved substitute menu items.
  • Prepare table set-ups in rooms and bus tables after meals.
  • Initiate resident tray service, ensuring quality and temperature of food items, and deliver and retrieve trays by end of meal dining time.
  • Organize and stock stations with supplies.
  • Enhance workstation safety and sanitary conditions, including picking up food and trash around the work area, cleaning tables, chairs, and other food service equipment and utensils.

Requirements:

  • No educational requirement.
  • No experience required; a willingness to learn is needed.
