The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited Radiology Program and hold certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R). Additionally, they will have a Florida License as a General Radiographer (RAD) and knowledge of federal and state regulations.

As an Imaging Healthcare Professional, your primary responsibilities will include performing a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation to detect pathology, regulating and operating equipment, reviewing prep information with patients, explaining the procedure, obtaining written consent, documenting pertinent clinical patient information, demonstrating a calm and understanding approach to ease any fear or anxiety, transporting patients, interacting with nursing caregivers, and checking written orders from physicians.
