Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality patient care in the oncology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and emotional health through interviews, medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Prescribe medications, blood products, and necessary diagnostic tests and follow-up procedures.
  • Evaluate patient qualifications for participation in clinical research trials.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and collect specimens as needed.
  • Support families in navigating complex emotional dynamics and coping strategies.
  • Participate in daily multi-disciplinary rounds, provide on-call support, and prioritize patient triage.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Contribute to the onboarding and training of new staff members.
Qualifications:Education:
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • A Master's degree is mandatory.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Active PRN or PA license in the relevant state.
  • Current certification from ANCC or ONS (AOCN-P).
  • Valid BLS certification.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an APRN or PA, with a focus on oncology.
Core Competencies:
  • Strong critical thinking abilities, effective interpersonal skills, and excellent communication capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location healthcare environment.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
