Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate students referred for occupational therapy services and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to provide occupational therapy services that support students' academic and functional goals.
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs that promote students' physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure that occupational therapy services are aligned with students' needs and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current license in Occupational Therapy by the MN Department of Health.
  • Certification from National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in occupational therapy from an AOTA accredited institution.
  • Experience in pediatric and/or school occupational therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in community resource systems.
  • Computer and data management skills.
  • Bilingual preferred.
