Aircraft Fueler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Fueler to join our team at Avflight. As an Aircraft Fueler, you will be responsible for providing fuel, oil, and other services to aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fueling and de-icing of aircraft in accordance with company standards
• Direct the movement of aircraft and vehicular traffic on the ramp and in and about the shops and hangars of our facilities
• Operate and maintain fuel trucks and ground support vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition
• Provide de-icing service to aircraft as needed
• Perform grounds keeping and janitorial maintenance duties, including driving a snow plow and assisting with snow removal
• Assist aircraft crews and passengers with courteous and professional service
• Perform daily and monthly fuel truck safety inspections
• Maintain compliance with all FAA, Federal, State, Local, and Avflight safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 years related experience, aviation experience a plus
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate basic computer skills with the ability to easily grasp the functionality and concepts of company software for paperwork and computer transactions
• Ability to write clearly and legibly
• Ability to push/pull/lift 70 lbs. for extended periods of time
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
• Must be available and willing to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays

Work Environment:

Airport environment: Indoors and Outdoors. Extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
