Job Summary
At Harmony Home Health & Hospice, we are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in maximizing patients' functional potential and providing high-quality care in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver physician-prescribed occupational therapy under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
  • Provide evidence-based direct intervention with patients in their place of residence
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients and colleagues
  • Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, collaborating on patient care and education
  • Submit timely and accurate documentation

Qualifications
  • Active State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
  • Current CPR with BLS card
  • Valid driver's license, minimum auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
  • Strong understanding of Federal, State, and local laws governing home health operations
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

Physical Requirements
  • Extensive standing, walking, and sitting
  • Lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or assisting patients
  • Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
