BSEt, a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), is currently seeking a skilled Computer System Analyst to join their team.

This position is located at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, and involves applying technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions.

The successful candidate will work under the technical guidance of a supervisor or higher-level technician and will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating skill and knowledge of server management
  • Gathering information from users/computer operators and defining systemic problems
  • Guiding users in formulating requirements and advising alternative solutions
  • Preparing data for debriefings and assisting with debriefings
  • Analyzing and resolving issues and conducting feasibility studies to recommend data processing, additional programming, procedural, hardware, or software changes
  • Scheduling and performing periodic, preventive, and corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment, including ancillary equipment
  • Providing recommendations for optimal approach and developing design for new projects
  • Interpreting information and informally arbitrating between system users if conflicts exist
  • Responding to notification of malfunctioning systems, including applicable Live Monitor functions; troubleshooting and repairing to restore the Ground Subsystems to full functionality
  • Performing system installation, preparation for use, and reshipment
  • Maintaining Range Remote Units and all associated communications equipment
  • Identifying and reporting corrections/improvements to technical data
  • Identifying and reporting product quality/materials deficiencies
  • Performing equipment status reporting, as well as maintenance data/job documentation for all maintenance actions
  • Preparing and delivering all reports and required documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with BSEt Quality Control and Safety Programs
  • Other duties as assigned by the site manager

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer systems analysis and have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related field. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desired.
