Job Overview:
Nesco Resource is in search of a meticulous and skilled CAD professional to enhance our team. This position involves utilizing CAD software to produce, modify, and refine intricate 2D and 3D schematics for the manufacturing of electrical components, while strictly following client specifications. Your proficiency will be vital in guaranteeing accuracy in all facets of design and drafting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engineering drawings utilizing AutoCAD for electrical systems, modification initiatives, and equipment enhancements.
- Effectively prioritize and manage multiple assignments to adhere to project timelines.
- Uphold and comply with established CAD standards and templates.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and client-specific requirements.
- Implement industry standards and client-specific protocols for conduit design and wire sizing.
- Analyze and interpret existing blueprints and construction documents.
- Deliver precise and timely CAD drawings consistently.
- Independently execute CAD projects with minimal oversight.
- Assess designs for feasibility and offer constructive feedback.
- Estimate material requirements and compile detailed bills of materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Drafting, Design, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in drafting for electrical manufacturing.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Capability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and schematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs or more, and to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to undergo and successfully complete physical, drug, driving, and background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Drafting, Design, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
