Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Assets Protection Team Leader to join our team. As an Assets Protection Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly team members, implementing department AP daily/weekly workload priorities, and responding to external theft incidents. You will also be responsible for educating teams on emergency preparedness and physical security procedures, developing and coaching team members to elevate their skills and expertise, and identifying theft and shortage trends in your store.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead a safe and secure culture, including crisis response, a strong safety environment, and crowd management planning.
• Implement department AP daily/weekly workload priorities to support business priorities and deliver on goals.
• Respond to external theft incidents and prevent future theft.
• Develop and coach team members to elevate their skills and expertise.
• Identify theft and shortage trends in your store.
• Develop schedules and adjust based on safe and secure and theft trends.
• Own the prevention, identification, and resolution of external theft incidents.

Requirements
• Age 18 or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Previous retail and/or loss prevention experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage your workload and prioritize tasks independently.

• Effective communication skills.
