We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at CarMax. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including engine, steering, and suspension problems.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to solve technical problems and meet production deadlines.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
- Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance.
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- ASE certifications in relevant areas (where required by State/Local law).
