Position Overview: Qualified Medication Aide
Cedarhurst Senior Living is in search of a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of Qualified Medication Aide at our facility. This position is integral to ensuring the well-being of our residents.
As a Qualified Medication Aide, your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medication and providing direct care to residents
- Conducting assessments of residents and communicating any changes in their health status
- Assisting residents with daily living activities and facilitating transfers
- Overseeing the medication management system and maintaining accurate documentation
- Engaging in glucose monitoring and administering insulin as required
To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, relevant state certification, and a basic life support/CPR certification. Experience in senior care is advantageous.
