Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a hospital setting.

Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. This includes preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection
  • Transport patients to and from the operating room
  • Assist with cleaning and disinfecting the operating room
Requirements:
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
