Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity. As a critical care specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill pediatric patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform a range of procedures, including ventilation management, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion.
- Manage acute volume and blood pressure issues, as well as evaluate and manage intracranial pressure.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs, and perform therapeutic procedures such as exchange transfusions and diagnostic taps.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) to document patient information and communicate with the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
- Current licensure in the state where the assignment is located.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
