About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team as an Acute Dialysis Specialist. As a critical care nurse, you will work independently alongside hospital staff to assess, troubleshoot, and make sound decisions for critically ill patients in an acute hospital setting.

This role offers a dynamic environment with diverse opportunities to develop your nursing skills. You will have the chance to work within various settings, such as ICUs, CCUs, ERs, and more, and continue to learn new nursing techniques on top of dialysis expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergent, lifesaving care during on-call shifts.
  • Assess, troubleshoot, and make sound recommendations in stressful situations.
  • Work long days without notice and be prepared for mandatory overtime due to the nature of the acute treatment provided.
  • Travel to multiple hospitals within a given area, ensuring commutability based on on-call requirements.
Requirements
  • A current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where practicing.
  • A willingness to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime required due to the nature of the acute treatment provided.
  • Physical ability to push/pull large hemodialysis machines around the hospital with little or no assistance.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N).
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
