About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of engineers and technical professionals in the development and execution of a large-scale aerospace program. As Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to the Ground Support Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT), ensuring the successful execution of the program's technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to the Ground Support Systems IPT, ensuring the successful execution of the program's technical objectives.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies and plans to meet program requirements and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their success.
  • Collaborate with program management, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and manage technical documentation, including specifications, design reviews, and test plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure successful program execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, System Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 14 years of experience in aerospace engineering, program management, or related field.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex programs.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in aerospace engineering, program management, and related fields.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other program management tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance.
