Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients' functional status, including activities of daily living, joint function, and cognitive skills.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and regain independence.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and rehabilitation programs.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in case conferences, care rounds, and family meetings to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Re-evaluate patients regularly to assess their progress and make recommendations for discharge planning.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • State of Michigan OT licensure and National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. registration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, physical disabilities, and intensive care units is preferred.
