Position Overview:
The Department of Pediatrics and Human Development is seeking a dedicated Neonatologist to join our esteemed faculty. Our department is committed to delivering exceptional pediatric primary and specialty care, alongside fostering medical education and research initiatives aimed at enhancing the health of children and newborns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive medical care at the regional neonatal care unit.
  • Conduct developmental assessments at our specialized clinic.
  • Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Participate in research and scholarly activities.
  • Attend departmental and divisional meetings regularly.
  • Contribute to committee service as required.
  • Fulfill special assignments as directed by the division chief and department chair.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO) and should be Board-certified or eligible for certification in neonatal-perinatal medicine. Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physician in the state is required, along with eligibility for privileges at affiliated facilities. Experience in stem cell research is preferred.
