Leander Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, privately owned, non-corporate small animal practice in Texas seeking Full-time, Part-time, and Relief Veterinarians as well as student interns. Our practice provides a range of services from routine wellness and preventative care to outpatient surgeries and dentals. We offer a healthy work-life balance, flexible scheduling with no on-call or Sundays, and a focus on autonomous medicine. Our support staff of 30 employees has a 3:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, and our mentor program is available for those who want to work directly with an experienced DVM. We can customize your compensation package with options such as a car allowance, student loan assistance, travel perks, extended PTO, or production bonuses. We welcome students looking for internships, externships, and summer assignments. Our primary focus during externships is to hone clinical skills and familiarize you with practice in our small animal hospital. Externs participate in client interactions, case management, diagnostic and treatment plans, and assisting with surgical and dental procedures. We offer a competitive salary, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and additional benefits such as paid licensing, VIN membership, CE, 401(k), health and dental insurance, and 120 hours of PTO. We are looking for a veterinarian with a license to practice in Texas, a veterinary license in good standing, and a passion for continued learning and improvement. New graduates are encouraged to apply, as are experienced practitioners.
