AutoCAD Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Technician to contribute to our team at Architectural Sheet Metal Systems, Inc. in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD software to create and modify 2D and 3D architectural drawings and plans.
• Develop AutoCAD drawing files for our projects.
• Translate architectural drawings into precise CNC programs using AutoCAD.
• Review sketches and plans to generate 2D and 3D design concepts.
• Collaborate with architects and project managers to ensure design intent and production capabilities align.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and clients.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and standards.
• Maintain organized digital files and documentation of drawings and revisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AutoCAD technology.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or certification in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Solidworks, and other relevant CAD software.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of architectural terminology and construction methods.
• Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications.
• Time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Advanced mathematical skills.
