Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse to join our team at PHP. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and assisting with deliveries.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assist with postpartum care, including providing emotional support and education to new mothers.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California.
  • Experience in labor and delivery nursing, preferably in a travel setting.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexibility to float to other units as needed.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
