We are seeking a skilled Blind and Shutter Technician to join our team at Custom Decorators Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing custom window treatments for our clients across the U.S. and Canada.

About the Job:

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting complex measurements for products, receiving product at your location, and verifying that all product has arrived in good condition.

You will also be required to professionally represent CDI and our retail partners, and to resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process.

Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Experience and proven measuring skills
  • Extensive experience installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters
  • Experience installing drapery and other soft treatments
  • Leaves positive and lasting impressions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills; printing, scanning, downloading/uploading to website
  • Currently possess or willing to obtain liability insurance
  • Possess all applicable state and local licenses
