Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records related to the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and support teams daily to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Administer medications and verify medication records for accuracy.
- Evaluate resident care plans to ensure they meet individual needs and adjust as necessary.
- Design, implement, and assess programs and policies aimed at delivering high-quality care.
- Lead nursing staff and conduct regular rounds to ensure adherence to care plans.
- Foster positive relationships with nursing staff, other departments, residents, families, and all stakeholders involved in resident care.
- Engage in facility evaluations conducted by authorized agencies.
Qualifications
- Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted nursing license to practice as a PNS.
- Familiarity with nursing practices, medical procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Ability to document nursing notes clearly and accurately reflecting resident care.
- Experience with electronic health records and documentation systems.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations.
