Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records related to the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and support teams daily to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
  • Administer medications and verify medication records for accuracy.
  • Evaluate resident care plans to ensure they meet individual needs and adjust as necessary.
  • Design, implement, and assess programs and policies aimed at delivering high-quality care.
  • Lead nursing staff and conduct regular rounds to ensure adherence to care plans.
  • Foster positive relationships with nursing staff, other departments, residents, families, and all stakeholders involved in resident care.
  • Engage in facility evaluations conducted by authorized agencies.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited institution.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted nursing license to practice as a PNS.
  • Familiarity with nursing practices, medical procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Ability to document nursing notes clearly and accurately reflecting resident care.
  • Experience with electronic health records and documentation systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations.
