About the Role:
Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. As a Nurse Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-focused care in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Float between four units: Intensive Care Unit, Cardiopulmonary Unit, Surgical/Renal Unit, and Surgical/Trauma Unit
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve quality patient outcomes
- Contribute to the creation of an exceptional patient experience
Requirements:
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure
- Certification in specialty preferred
- Strongly encouraged to complete life-saving education specific to specialty area
Benefits:

- Shift differential available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights
