We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Innovative Therapy Concepts, LLC. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pulmonary rehabilitation program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care services to patients with various respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and peak flow measurements, to assess patient lung function.
- Administer oxygen therapy, including nasal cannulas, masks, and oxygen concentrators, as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including oxygen saturation, heart rate, and blood pressure, to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care.
- Associate's degree or equivalent in respiratory therapy or a related field.
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Valid state license to practice as a respiratory therapist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
