Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Expert to join our team as an Independent Medical Examiner for the US Department of Veterans Affairs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for reviewing medical records, conducting thorough examinations, and completing detailed reports.

This is a remote position that requires minimal travel, with regular interactions with our team via phone or video conferencing. We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $160,000 to $260,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent medical examinations for veterans seeking disability benefits
  • Review medical records and conduct thorough examinations
  • Complete detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Current license as a Physiatrist
  • Board Certification in PM&R or related field
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
