Job Description

The Johnson Controls team is seeking a highly skilled Journeymen Chiller Mechanic to join our team. As a commercial, industrial, and/or institutional chiller specialist, you will be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service requests and recommending necessary upgrades or repairs
  • Executing contract maintenance visits, inspections, and site assessments
  • Providing quote estimates for labor and material repairs and upgrades as needed
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective communication skills
Requirements
  • Three years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers
  • Mechanical Journeyman status
  • Member of Local Union 211 or willing to join
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
