About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Flowers Baking Co. of Bradenton, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on our physical plant, equipment, and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- Respond to and correct equipment stoppages and mechanical breakdowns, troubleshooting and repairing or replacing worn or defective parts as needed.
- Operate machine shop equipment and fabricate required parts when necessary to support maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including EEO, Harassment, Safety, and Sarbanes Oxley.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience as a Production Operator or Technician, or formal training or experience in a related field.
- Experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, Welding, Electronics, Electrical repairs, Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, etc.
- Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent formal training and work experience.
