Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Estes Services. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including routine checks and repairs.
  • Reclaim and recover refrigerant, check pressures, and perform other tasks as required.
  • Experience with RTU start-up, checking rotation, and other related tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including low-voltage controls and wiring diagrams.
  • Provide excellent customer service, educating customers on repairs and services.
  • Work closely with dispatchers and other team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Complete invoices, time sheets, and other paperwork as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in HVAC service.
  • EPA License required.
  • Commercial HVAC service knowledge preferred.
Competencies
  • Negotiating skills.
  • Organizational agility.
  • Priority setting.
  • Interpersonal savvy.
Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, squat, carry and climb ladders, work at heights, and lift weights of 50 pounds or more. A drug test and physical will be required as part of the hiring process.

Salary

$21-$35/hour.
