Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our team at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the administration and management of civil works and military support for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer construction projects from initiation to completion
• Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with contract documents
• Prepare and review submittals, schedules, payments, and scopes of work
• Analyze contractor proposals and conduct negotiations with contractors
• Perform contractor evaluations and oversee meetings with contractors and stakeholders
• Experience with environmental remediation and cleanup projects
• Supervise teams and direct project activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Professional registration or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
• At least one year of specialized experience in construction project management, including experience with environmental remediation and cleanup projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
