About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional On-Road Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are in good working condition, and that safety and quality standards are met.

Main Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments as needed.
  • Manage personnel conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all parts and labor costs are accurately charged to work orders, and that work performed is properly documented on repair orders.

You will also be responsible for communicating with the maintenance team, operators, and drivers about the current status of equipment being operated and repaired, performing daily reviews of workload and providing guidance to supervisors where needed, and triaging which work should be conducted in-house or sent for external repair.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • At least five years of shop experience, including three years of maintenance supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience performing maintenance on large fleets, including hydraulic, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, transmissions, HVAC, and special body applications.
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight or supervision, demonstrated leadership skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

A valid Class C driver's license and a safe driving record for the past three years are also required. A Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field is preferred. Salary: $100,000 - $130,000/year.
